Gaby Goldsack

British author of books for younger children, mainly board/picture books. She was born in 1966 and has been writing since 1995. Since then she has been fairly prolific and has accumulated quite a back-list. Many of her books feature animals, including those perennial little girl's favourites: puppies, kittens and ponies. Her pony related titles include a  number of picture book/early readers, a zebra story and a book of pony stories (again for younger readers)  to which she has contributed. She also wrote a non-fiction riding manual for very young beginners which included a play set.

If anyone could help with pics of the books or any other information about the author I would love to hear from you.

Pony Tales Series:
I know very little about this series as I have never actually seen a physical copy of any of the books! They are for younger readers and are probably picture books but whether this list is complete or whether they follow any particular order I do not know. If anyone has any information about the books or pictures of them please let me know!

Collectors Info:
Not that easy to find. At the time of writing I cannot find a single copy of Palomino Pony for sale anywhere and the others are fairly rare too, although not usually very expensive.

SUMMARY: Book of pony stories for early readers past the picture book stage. Stories written by Gaby Goldsack and six others. Unfortunately the stories are not credited to specific authors so I am not sure which ones were written by Ms. Goldsack or whether in fact all the authors collaborated together on all of them.

Collectors Info:
Not that easy to find, especially outside of the UK, although if you do find copies they may be quite cheap.
